Case Study: Picket – Negative Palmar Angles

Picket is a gelding in his early teens who, when he came to us, was suffering chronic pain in the thoraco-lumbar and sacroilliac area from negative palmar angles. This is often considered unfixable. However, with the help of modern materials, rubber boots and pads we were able to reverse the problem in record time… much to ours, the vet’s and the owner’s surprise! Picket is now back in work doing low level jumping and pony club.
